Guest Andrew Baggarly

That's right, today we're talking with special guest Andrew Baggarly Senior Writer from The Athletic. The boys and Andrews discuss cocktails, the life of being a baseball writer, the Giants 2024 offense and the lack of position player development.

On the cocktail side of things Ben is drinking a Logan Webb Punch, Matthew is drinking a Carribean Carre and Andrew is presenting his original 'Quattro Rosas. Recipes:

Quattro Roses

1 1/2 oz Four Roses Bourbon

1/2 oz Nespolino (or Amaretto)

2 oz Loquat Juice (or Apple Juice)

1/2 oz Lemon Juice

1 Dash of All-Spice bitters

1-3 cherries sunk to the bottom for garnish

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake 10-12 seconds until well-chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with cherries.

Logan Webb Punch

1 oz White Rum

1 oz Dark Rum

1 oz Congac

1/2 oz Apricot Liqueur

1 oz Lemon Juice

1 oz Simple Syrup

3 Luxardo Cherries for Garnish

Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake 10-12 seconds and double strain into a rocks glass with fresh ice. Add garnish and enjoy.

Carribean CarreĀ“

1 oz Rye Whiskey

1 oz White Rum

1 oz Sweet Vermouth

1/4 oz Benedictine

2 dashes orange bitters

2 dashes Angostura (or Chocolate) Bitters

Orange Peel for garnish

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir for 30 seconds. Strain into a chilled rocks glass with a large ice cube. Express orange oils over drink and drop orange peel into drink.
